Mike Audette is A U.S. Navy veteran, disabled by traumatic brain injury resulting in acquired Meneire’s disease, a condition that causes severe vertigo or dizziness. Mike needs to use crutches, a walker, or a wheelchair to get around. Not to be deterred by fatigue, daily nausea, muscle weakness, and a bum knee, he is an aspiring athlete and competes in the Marine Corps Marathon as very much a member of Team “SideXSide”. Mike has the challenge of spearheading a number of AFF initiatives; particularly, the development of activity in the New England Region.
Mike was stationed in Scotland with the British Royal Marines and Royal Navy.
