Mark Goulart is a Strategy & Operations Principal in Deloitte’s Government Services Practice. Mr. Goulart’s primary focus has been leading projects in performance and operations improvement as well as driving account growth for clients in the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Currently, Mr. Goulart serves as the leader for Deloitte’s programs that serve and support transitioning service members and veterans. Those programs include Deloitte’s internal hiring and retention program, Deloitte’s pro-bono initiatives with Veteran Non-Profits, and Deloitte’s sponsorship and investment in programs to support service-member and veteran employment, education and physical health and recovery.
Mr. Goulart also serves as Deloitte’s senior representative to the United States Olympic Committee’s Paralympic Military Program, and since 2010 has been the leader of Deloitte’s sponsorship of the Warrior Games. Additionally, Mr. Goulart Serves as Deloitte’s National Leader of the Armed Forces Business Resource Group (AFBRG) and coordinates chapter activities across the US.
Mr. Goulart served as an officer in the US Army from 1983-1987. His education includes an MBA in International Business and a BA in Economics, both from the University of Rhode Island.
