Maj (Rtd) Stephen Cain MBE – Founder and Chairman Emeritus
Honorary Board

A graduate of the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, he was commissioned into the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers. He passed all the challenges necessary to qualify for 3 Para and later was to head up teams to drop into Arnhem taking platoons of the 82nd and 101 “Screaming Eagles” to drop together with members of 10 Para. Stephen was a sky diver – briefly – and also jumped about 80 times into landing zones.

Stephen was awarded the Member of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen for operational duties as Company Commander.

Major Cain attended courses on International Affairs and politics at Oxford University, received his law degree from The British College of Law and was admitted into the Supreme Court of England & Wales.

Stephen is a fierce proponent of the Special Relationship between Britain and America, and the Steadfast Alliance of Commonwealth nations in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He has been involved in Veterans’ Affairs since he came to the United States in 1991, and has helped to raise substantial funds for British and American wounded in partnership with U.S. charities. Stephen is committed to raising many more funds and greater awareness of the reality of Allied wounded and their families.
