The Iwo Jima Memorial and the MCM
72 years ago today, February 23, 1945, U.S. Marines captured Mount Suribachi and raised a pair of American flags over Iwo Jima. AFF will be running the Marine Corps Marathon in October which finishes at the Iwo Jima Memorial at Arlington. Read more

The AFF Marine Corps Marathon team members have now headed home after a fun week of visits around Washington, D.C., meeting with wounded, ill and injured service people and veterans from other allied nations, and facing the huge challenge of the marathon – thank you to all who came and participated!
