The “Jingle Bell Jog”, Virginia

AFF friend and supporter Phyllis Wilson has posted this happy group to our Twitter account: participants in the “Jingle Bell Jog” in Crystal City, Virginia.

The US Army Warrant Officer Association planned this combined Veteran Services Organization (VSO) 5K event for Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Long Bridge Park in Crystal City, Virginia, which by all accounts was a great success .

Phyllis writes:

“Jingle Bell Jog – Complete! THANK YOU to everyone that turned out to support the Veteran Organizations and a special thanks to every business that supported the Fund Raiser with their donations!! So glad to have so many children and pets participate! Part of the money raised will SPONSOR a TEAM of Wounded Warriors and Military Family Members as they head out to White Sands, NM for the Bataan Death March on March 20, 2016! Yes – I will wear my Scottish Kilt then too!”

The “Jingle Bell Jog” benefited six veteran organizations as they work to meet the needs of those who have given so much to safeguard the United States of America:

Allied Forces Foundation, Inc.
Carry The Fallen
Team RWB
The 296 Project
Warrior360
Wounded Warriors Have FAMILIES Too
