The Queen Elizabeth II September 11th Garden, Hanover Square, New York, NY

A solemn service remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

 

The Observance will be held – and is held, annually – at the Queen Elizabeth II September 11th Garden (formerly known as the British Garden and British Memorial Garden) in Hanover Square, Lower Manhattan. Open to all, guests are requested to be at the Garden by 10:45 am.

There will be a musical presentation by Allied Forces Foundation Pipes and Drums. The Observance will include a wreath laying ceremony followed by relevant readings.

As every year, two minutes’ silence will be observed in honour of the fallen.

Allied Forces Foundation will lay a wreath in memory of all those no longer with us but never forgotten. Also laying wreaths will be representatives of other prominent New York organizations and Societies.

Dress is Business Attire or Uniform. Medals may be worn.

Optional lunch: Ulysses’ at 11:30 am
